In September, the clicker game (tapalka) Hamster Kombat has made a lot of noise: 300 million players who had been diligently completing tasks for half a year and poking at their smartphone screens every day were expecting to make a little extra money. But when the time came for the listing, the major hype turned into total disappointment. Almost half of them were not credited with HMSTR tokens at all: only 43% of gamers were eligible for airdrops. And the 47% who were able to get HMSTR remained upset because of the low price of the coin. The game was already called was dubbed the most disastrous among the tapas.
But that’s not all. Since September, the HMSTR token has fallen in value by 76%.
According to Protos, the number of active Hamster Kombat users dropped dramatically to 41 million in five months, a decrease of 86% (259 million).
Hamster Kombat cast a shadow over other tapas. Player disillusionment and difficulties with listing in general have led to a significant decline in interest in this genre of games. Some experts believe that the way things are now, tapas will cease to exist.
