Warner Bros. Pictures Ukraine has released the first trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s new film Trap — psychological thriller starring Josh Hartnett as… a serial killer. From an outstanding physicist in Christopher Nolan’s «Oppenheimer» to a maniac, quite a transformation.
In the story, a father and his teenage daughter attend a pop concert of a famous singer, but later he finds out that the whole event was specially organized by law enforcement with the sole purpose of luring and catching the serial killer Butcher. The special forces have already surrounded the building, blocked all exits, put cameras in every nook and cranny, and started hunting.
Other roles were played by Ariel Donoghue (TV series «Wolf Like Me»), the director’s daughter Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills («The Parent Trap»), Alison Pill («Scott Pilgrim vs. the World»).
In the Ukrainian box office — from August 8. Why the Ukrainian localizers translated the original title Trap as «Trap», and not, say, just «Trap», is a rhetorical question.
