53 thousand new cars purchased by Ukrainians this year: which models are the most popular?

In the first 9 months of 2024, Ukrainians registered 53 thousand new passenger cars. This is 21% more than in the same period in 2023.

As it turned out, Ukrainians most often buy a crossover among new cars. This category accounts for the majority of cars in the TOP-10 most popular brands in the first three quarters of 2024.

At the same time, the compact crossover RENAULT Duster became the bestseller in the new car market. Its sales grew by almost a quarter year-on-year. The top three also includes the TOYOTA RAV-4 and MAZDA CX5 crossovers.

TOP-10 new passenger cars of 2024:

1. RENAULT Duster – 5060 units (+24.8%);
2. TOYOTA RAV-4 – 3402 units (+63.1%);
3. MAZDA CX5 – 1459 units (+16.3%);
4. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 1410 units (-18.8%);
5. KIA Sportage – 1315 units (+75.8%);
6. HYUNDAI Tucson – 1078 units (-9.2%);
7. TOYOTA Camry – 1069 units (+20.1%);
8. SKODA Octavia – 998 units (+16.3%);
9. VOLKSWAGEN Touareg – 966 units (+17.4%);
10. SKODA Kodiaq – 961 units (+3.2%).
