Deferrals in the mobile application «Reserve+» will gradually be extended automatically. About said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chornohorenko.
She clarified that previously, in order to extend the online deferment, it was necessary to manually send a new request in the application. The corresponding opportunity was launched in November last year. Now, to extend the deferral, it will be enough to update the military document.
At the first stage, this option will work only for those deferments from mobilization that were previously issued through the «Reserve+» application. This includes people with disabilities who have a Pension Fund certificate, as well as students, postgraduates and doctoral students.
Parents with many children in a joint marriage can apply for a new extension after the expiration of the postponement. Later, it is planned to make automatic deferrals for them as well. However, Kateryna Chornohorenko did not specify the approximate timeframe when this «later» will occur.
