Jack Straight, a developer with a degree in architecture, created a surreal pixelated horror game called Roche Limit entirely in PowerPoint.
Straight developed more than 1500 slides for the project. The game has all the key elements: animation, user interface, sound design, and dialogs. Some images are not static, and environmental elements, such as birds, leaves, and the moon, are animated.
Most of the slides are black and white or bright red, creating a strange, quiet, and eerie atmosphere. On a few screens, the light and shadows are particularly striking.
Roche Limit is not available on Steam — the game can only be downloaded from link and run it in PowerPoint.
