Source Weibo claims that Apple has been testing 7.5W reverse charging on the 17 Pro. The feature will allow charging AirPods headphones or Apple watches right next to the smartphone.
Rumors of reverse wireless charging support first appeared before the release of the iPhone 12. Back then, Apple added the necessary components for the first time, but the feature was not implemented. Similar rumors circulated about the iPhone 14, but then nothing happened either.
Apple is preparing several big changes for the iPhone 17 series, and reverse wireless charging may be one of them. Most of the rumors «revolve» around the camera, and several leaks had a common feature — the back of the camera may change to a horizontal line. In one leak, the frame resembled «spider eyes»in the second «billiard table» and finally Pixel again, but with a higher camera.
