ASUS Vivobook 14 and 16: Snapdragon X chip, almost 20 hours without recharging, and a price starting at $700

ASUS has shown off its new Copilot+PC devices at CES 2025 – Vivobook 14 and 16 laptops based on Qualcomm processors.

The new Vivobook 14 and Vivobook 16 are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X chip. They also have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. ASUS claims that thanks to the new internal components, both laptops are 44% more productive than the previous generation Vivobook. In addition, they should work longer – the battery life has increased to 19.8 hours.

Regardless of whether you buy a 14-inch or 16-inch laptop, you will get a 1920×1200 display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Both Vivobooks will use AI Camera, which can detect when you’re not sitting in front of the screen and automatically dim the display to extend battery life or lock the computer for added security. The devices include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and an audio jack.

ASUS puts a special emphasis on AI features in new products, such as Generative Fill and Erase for photo editing or Live Captions for automatically adding subtitles to audio.

The new ASUS Vivobook 14 and Vivobook 16 laptops are available for pre-order now for $700 and $750 respectively.
