Audi has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Q6 Sportback e-tron. This coupe-like crossover made its debut at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron boasts a completely redesigned roofline that distinguishes it from its more traditional Audi Q6 e-tron sibling. This change provides better aerodynamics, contributing to an increase in the range. This model is claimed to have an autonomy of over 644 km on the WLTP cycle (in the top configuration).
The Sportback version offers a variety of powertrains. The base model is equipped with a single engine that drives the rear wheels. A Quattro version with two engines and all-wheel drive is also available. The top-of-the-line twin-engine configuration produces 489 hp and accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
Thanks to the 800 V electrical architecture, the Q6 Sportback e-tron can be charged quickly. Fast DC charging of up to 270 kW replenishes the battery from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes under ideal conditions. And in 10 minutes, you can recharge the battery enough to cover 266 kilometers.
The interior of the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron offers an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit display and a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system based on the Android Automotive OS. An additional 10.9-inch passenger display and an augmented reality head-up display are also available.
While the sloping roofline of the Sportback design creates a sportier profile, it slightly reduces cargo space compared to the standard Q6 e-tron. The Q6 Sportback e-tron offers 510 liters of cargo space, which increases to 1,370 liters with the rear seats folded down. The front boot provides an additional 62 liters of storage space.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron will go on sale in Europe later this year at a starting price of €65900. The top-of-the-line SQ6 Sportback e-tron is priced from €96200.
