Bandai Namco Europe will become a publisher Dawnwalker — a new dark fantasy RPG from the former developers of The Witcher series.
Rebel Wolves is a studio founded in February 2022 by former CD Projekt Red employees, announced the name of its debut project in early 2024. The team includes developers who worked on The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077.
According to the creators, Dawnwalker will be an open-world adventure RPG set in medieval Europe. The game will have a gloomy atmosphere and a storyline campaign. The project will be released on PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Rebel Wolves plans to reveal more details about Dawnwalker by the end of 2024. The game’s release date is still unknown.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt RED studio is working on The Witcher 4 codenamed Polaris. According to CEO Michal Nowakowski, a team of 400 people is working on the game. The project is being created on Unreal Engine 5 and will be the first part of a new trilogy.
