Blizzard has updated Warcraft III Reforged and released remasters of the first and second parts

Blizzard announced and unexpectedly released Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered and Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 — all of which are already available on Battle.net.

Warcraft is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and as part of the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct broadcast, Blizzard announced and released remasters of the games that started it all.

First, Warcraft I: Remastered reimagines the classic 1994 RTS Warcraft: Orcs & Humans with new HD textures, widescreen support, modern controls (right-click movement), and an improved interface. Warcraft II: Remastered also received updated graphics, controls, and interface for 2024. This game has made the Warcraft series very popular among PC players. The old sound effects, classic voices, and music remain unchanged.

The unexpected announcement also includes the return of another classic — Warcraft III. Blizzard has remade the problematic remaster of Warcraft III: Reforged 2020 with a new patch 2.0. It updates the game environment, lighting, and user interface, scaling classic Warcraft III assets to HD. The update also brings improved sound, numerous game improvements, and a matchmaking system.

All three remasters are now available as part of the new collection Warcraft Battle Chest for ₴1357. If purchased separately, Warcraft 1: Remastered costs ₴339, Warcraft 2: Remastered ₴508, and Warcraft 3: Reforged ₴745.

Interestingly, Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered and Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 were not added to PC Game Pass.
