Last week, the Ministry of Defense started a beta test the use of electronic referrals to the military medical consultation center in the «Reserve+» application. And now, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko saidThe Ministry of Healthcare announced that starting January 31, Ukrainians will be able to massively create referrals for VTC in «Reserve+». The relevant changes to the regulations were supported by the government.
Kateryna Chernogorenko reminded that initially the new service will be available for those liable for military service who wish to undergo a medical examination of their own free will. But later, it is planned to expand this opportunity to other citizens who already have a call for a medical examination.
«No queues and unnecessary paperwork — this is one of the principles of our product implementation.
We have already recruited a team of testers, and today everyone is receiving letters and starting the test,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense.
She also added that the reform of the HCPC will not be limited to the digitalization of referrals. The work necessary to establish interaction between the information systems of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense is also underway. In the future, it is also planned to implement the possibility to choose a medical institution in «Reserve+» to undergo the preliminary medical examination.
«Everything to make the process convenient and transparent. And the decisions on eligibility were reviewed independently and anonymously,»,” added Kateryna Chornohorenko.
