Sotheby’s auction house sold a banana glued to the wall with tape for $6.24 million. The work of the Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan titled Comedian («Comedian») acquired by Tron blockchain founder Justin Sun. On Wednesday, he beat out six competitors and planned to eat the art in the coming days. But he also hinted that he was ready to abandon the idea if SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was interested in his banana.

The work of art will not disappear after that. Along with the banana and a roll of tape, San received a certificate of authenticity and a 14-page care and replacement manual. It describes in detail in which direction the banana should be turned (always to the right), at what height it should be mounted (at eye level) and what should be avoided (horizontal position of the banana).
