Final trailer «Thunderbirds» — Florence Pugh jumps from the world’s second tallest building and gets her first look at the Void

The new and final trailer for «Thunderbirds» —, a movie about a certain an anti-heroic replacement for the Avengerswhich is supposed to save the world (in fact, the «Suicide Squad» DC version in Marvel’s vision).

The video gives us our first glimpse (and some sound) of the Void — the main villain of this movie. Although there are no close-ups, the overall image gives us a sense of her extreme power and the understanding that the «Thunderbolts» team, which does not have any superpowers, will definitely be the underdog in this battle.

The climax comes at the moment when Elena Belova (Florence Pugh) steps right into the cloud of darkness created by the Void, while the rest of the Thunderbolts watch in horror. Perhaps the character plans to follow in the footsteps of her sister Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and make the ultimate sacrifice to save the world? The original Black Widow, we recall, sacrificed her soul in «Avengers: Endgame» to help rebuild the universe after Thanos wiped out half the population.

A void is a dark version of the Sentinel, played by Lewis Pullman. The rest of the cast includes Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), David Harbour (Red Guard), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Hannah John-Kamen (The Ghost), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontainebleau), and others.

Also in the trailer you can see Florence Pugh’s jump from the world’s second tallest building — a stunt that the actress performed on her own, despite Marvel’s insistence on an understudy.

The film was directed by Jake Schreyer («Robot and Frank») and produced by Kevin Feige and Scarlett Johansson. «Thunderbirds» will be released in Ukraine on May 1, 2025.
