This year, the flagship line of Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones will be expanded with a new representative. In addition to the base model, Plus and Ultra versions, the Galaxy S25 Slim is also expected to be released. Now it has appeared in the first renders.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim allegedly has dimensions of 159x76x6.4 mm. This makes it roughly the same size as the Galaxy S24+ (and possibly the S25+ as well), except that it’s obviously much thinner. For example, the Galaxy S24+ is 7.7 mm thick.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is 8.3 mm thick at the camera, which is only 0.1 mm thicker than the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be at its thinnest point (excluding the camera protrusions). The Slim will have a screen of 6.7 to 6.8 inches, which is likely to be in line with the S25+ again.
The design also seems very similar. The phone is rumored to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera using the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera using the ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset combined with 12 GB of RAM. Android 15 with One UI 7 is also expected to be available from day one.
The Galaxy S25 Slim may be announced at Samsung’s Unpacked event on January 22, but it won’t be launched alongside the other three models in the family. Instead, it is expected to go on sale in May.
