Google Meet has received several interesting updates — and among them option to scroll through subtitleswhich allows you to rewind the text recording of the conversation to the moment you accidentally listened to.
The update applies to both regular «live» subtitles and text translated by artificial intelligence in real time — of course, for those users who have the option available at all (it will be extended to all subscriptions within 3 days, but not yet to all regions).
There are restrictions on scrolling and you can only rewind the conversation for 30 minutes.
Another new AI tool that should improve meeting productivity in Google Meet is the modernized notes feature, which automatically generate a to-do list. Then the manager will be able to assign them to specialists on their own.
The notes option will be available to Google Workspace users with Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, and Enterprise Plus plans, as well as those using the Gemini Education Premium app The tool has been deployed since February 18, but it is being rolled out «gradually».
Recently, Google has also released an experimental an AI tool for job search called Career Dreamer, which, among other things, will help you write cover letters and resumes.
