This year, Ukrainians have traveled over 842 million kilometers and spent nearly 14 million hours on the road using the taxi service Uklon.
Among the most popular pick-up/drop-off locations are the railway station, bus station, and shopping and entertainment centers. As expected, the peak of orders coincided with holidays, with noticeable spikes on March 8, Constitution Day of Ukraine, the eve of Independence Day, as well as on the day of the Slovakia-Ukraine match at Euro-2024 and the second competition day of the 2024 Paralympic Games.
Based on the data collected from different cities, Uklon has categorized them: thus, the early bird cities are Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia, while the night owl cities are Rivne, Lviv, and Khmelnytskyi. The distribution based on operating systems used for ordering is also interesting: the most requests from iOS devices came from Lviv, Uzhhorod, and Odesa, while Android was more popular in Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv.
The most tips to drivers were given in Kyiv. Also, the capital stood out with the highest number of calls for trips with pets, delivery requests, and business class journeys.
Uklon also reported on charitable projects and contributions: the company itself donated 93 million hryvnias in 2024 (excluding December), while the service users (with an option to set up automatic donations in the app) donated about 10 million hryvnias in total.
