From now on, in a special section restored Pixel 6, Pixel 6A, and Pixel 7 are now available on the Google Store.
The company says that the smartphones undergo a thorough inspection by technicians (which includes analysis of the battery, camera, body, and screens), while repairs are performed only with original spare parts, so they «will not be inferior in quality to new models».
The refurbished Pixel 6 and 7 will also come with a one-year warranty and the same level of support as new smartphones. All models are sold with the latest version of Android and chargers, and at a 40% discount from the original price (the Apple Certified Refurbished program, for comparison, reaches only 15%):
- Pixel 6 — $339 (was $599)
- Pixel 6 Pro — $539 (was $899)
- Pixel 6A — $249 (was $449)
- Pixel 7 — $429 (was $599)
- Pixel 7 Pro — $629 (was $899)
These prices apply to models with 128 GB of storage, but Google spokesman Patrick Seybold said in a comment The Verge said that others would soon appear there as well.
