Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus: a flagship Android tablet with AI and 144 Hz display… And two more cheaper models

Published by Vadym Karpus

Lenovo has announced several new Android tablets to be released this year. The company has developed devices for the needs of different categories of users.

The new flagship tablet Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus has a 12.7-inch anti-glare display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a number of AI functions running on the device. The device has a reflective glass strip on the back and a magnetic kickstand that attaches underneath the strip, and the tablet is extremely thin overall. The package includes a keyboard case, Tab Pen Pro stylus, and a 45W charger.

The AI features on the device were not ready to be demonstrated at CES (which is surprising since the tablet is already available for purchase), but there is a button on the keyboard for direct access to them. Initially, Lenovo claimed that the tablet would be released with Android 15, but in fact, it runs Android 14 out of the box. Therefore, we can expect an update with a new version of the OS and AI functions soon. However, users can immediately access PC Mode, designed to work better with the keyboard and trackpad. Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is already available on the manufacturer’s website for $699.

The Idea Tab Pro model offers almost the same hardware and software, but at a lower price. In order to save money, the chip is replaced by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400, and the RAM is half as much – 8 GB. But the price for a tablet with a large screen is also half as much – $349. Idea Tab Pro will be available in April.

Finally, the Lenovo Tab is a basic tablet for $150. It has a 10.1-inch screen, a budget MediaTek chip, and only 4 GB of RAM. Lenovo will offer it with a case designed for children. Lenovo Tab will be available in June, its price has not yet been announced.
