Marvel stars named their favorite movies in the MCU — not without «Avengers», but a couple of unexpected ones in the top

The site of the official Disney fan club took interview actors who have played some of the most important roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and among other things asked about their favorite films of the franchise: obviously, the top films were about The Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, or Guardians of the Galaxy, but there were a couple of titles that fans could argue about.

Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel)

«I love Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Endgame” and “Thor: Ragnarok”», — says Vellani. «I’ve always been a Marvel fan, and used to make the whole family watch the movies in chronological order before a new movie came out. I used to write essays in English about the MCU, paint my nails in Avengers and fight with my friends who chose Cap over Iron Man… In case it’s not clear — Iron Man is my favorite, he’s the one who attracted me to the MCU».

Paul Rudd (Scott Lang / Ant-Man)

«I loved all of the Marvel movies — and I’m not just saying that because Kevin Feige [president of Marvel Studios] has my phone number. But I have to say that Thor: Ragnarok and Captain America: The Winter Soldier — are two of my favorites».

Natalie Portman (Jane Foster / The Mighty Thor)

«I love Thor: Ragnarok,” Portman says. «It just makes you smile all the time».

Simu Liu (Shang-Chi)

«It’s like asking me which flavor of ice cream I like best. It’s ice cream: it’s all good!», — Liu says. «That being said, I think the absolutely outstanding ones are Black Panther, Avengers: Confrontation,” “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Avengers: Endgame”».

Shira Haas (Ruth Bat-Seraf / Sabra)

«I have a lot of favorite movies, but Captain America: The Winter Soldier is No. 1 for me,» says Haas. «I was moved by it. I remember when I first saw it, I went through a whole range of emotions. My second favorite is Avengers: Endgame, just because it’s so iconic».

Sochil Gomez (America Chavez)

«I really like MJ from the Spider-Man movies,» says Gomez. «I love Zendaya, who plays her. I am such a big fan. MJ isn’t a superhero or anything, but I like her character and how she fits into the story».
