Megogo became the first Ukrainian OTT service to integrate a vertical content viewing format — similar to that used by TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
As of today, 19 vertical series of the Briz copyright holder are available for viewing on the platform, with 45 episodes each lasting 1-1.5 minutes. All of them have Ukrainian voice acting and «embedded» Ukrainian subtitles — for easy viewing in any place, including public places where you should mute the audio.

The new format is available to Megogo users in the mobile app in the «Short dramas» section and is generally offered in all markets where the platform operates (including Poland and Kazakhstan) as part of a subscription service (SVOD).
The release notes that in 2024, 26.2% of Megogo subscribers consumed content from mobile devices, so the new format will definitely find its fans.
Earlier, the service shared interesting statistics on how users consumed content in 2024: they spent an average of one hour a day with the service, most often with Smart TV, and the most used emoji on interactive TV was the flag of Ukraine.
The leader in terms of the number of purchases was the movie «Dune: Part Two»while «Home Alone» was the record holder in terms of hours of viewing. «Game of Thrones» held the bar as the most popular series, and among Ukrainian content, the most watched were Oscar-winning «20 days in Mariupol».
