Nvidia App is out of beta: new program replaces GeForce Experience and Control Panel

Published by Ihor Panchenko

NVIDIA has released a new universal application for managing video cards. The company announced this said on its website.

The developers presented the final version of the program called NVIDIA App after several months of testing and several beta versions. NVIDIA is not abandoning the old programs yet, as the new app does not yet contain some features, such as Surround and Multiple Display Mode settings. Updates with these features will be available later.

The NVIDIA App allows you to manage all aspects of your video card in one place: update drivers, adjust display and performance settings, use the latest overlay, and enable G-Sync. By the way, the overlay supports AV1 video recording (4K/120 fps), RTX filters with artificial intelligence, and flexible customization of the game statistics display.

An important advantage is the absence of mandatory registration of an NVIDIA account (unlike GeForce Experience). However, authorization remains available to receive special offers and rewards.

The new app works on computers with GTX 800/900, RTX 20/30/40, and MX 100/200/300 series graphics cards running Windows 10 and 11 with driver version 551.52 or later.
