Binance founder Changpeng CZ Zhao becomes a strategic advisor on cryptocurrencies in Pakistan. The country has announced plans to introduce blockchain, Web3, and digital finance. The announcement was made after a meeting of government officials chaired by the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

He will advise the Pakistani government on cryptocurrency regulation, infrastructure, and talent development.
CZ’s visit to Pakistan also included separate meetings with the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, emphasizing the high-level commitment to creating a regulatory framework and technology ecosystem that will foster innovation.
Pakistan’s Crypto Council, established under the Ministry of Finance, is positioned to lead South Asia’s digital transformation, and CZ’s participation is expected to significantly increase global investors’ confidence in the country’s cryptocurrency ambitions.
