Photos of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card in the OEM (reference design) version, which has never been released, have appeared on the web. At least not officially. This card can be found on the Chinese black market.
AMD initially planned to release the Radeon RX 9070 in a reference design, and such models were already in production. However, it seems that the plans have changed, and the already manufactured devices will either be included in finished PCs or remain available only on the black market.
One of the users of the Chiphell forum has already purchased this video card and shared its image before the official release. Although the design differs from the official renders, it is consistent with the OEM version of the RX 9070 XT that was leaked a week ago.
The card features a dual-fan design and some elements from the official render. AMD has confirmed that it will not release the Radeon RX 9070 in the MBA (Made by AMD) version, so this model is the closest to the reference version.
The official rendering showed a more detailed design with the Radeon logo on the side and polished aluminum cooling. The OEM version, on the other hand, has a plain black casing without RGB lighting.
Radeon RX 9070equipped with a Navi 48 graphics processorwhich has fewer cores than the XT version. The card also has a lower TGP of 220W, so the OEM version does not require an overly powerful cooling system.
The question remains as to who manufactures these graphics cards. AMD usually works with partners to produce reference models, but it is likely that initial production has been canceled.
