Realme has introduced its new flagship smartphone — Realme GT7 Pro. The device, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, offers the world’s first underwater photography mode. It also features a large battery and one of the brightest displays on the market.
Features of the Realme GT7 Pro
The Realme GT7 Pro has a 6.78-inch Eco2 OLED Plus displaydeveloped by Samsung. It is reportedly the lowest power consumption display in the industry. The maximum brightness reaches 6000 nits, which is a new record. The display has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is complemented by 12 or 16 GB of RAM, as well as built-in UFS 4.0 storage with a capacity of 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB. There is no memory card slot. The device is protected against dust and water and has IP68/69 certification.
On the back of Realme GT7 Pro is a triple camera. It has a 50-megapixel main module based on a 1/.56-inch Sony IMX906 sensor, which is complemented by an optical image stabilization system and an f/1.8 aperture lens. A 50-megapixel telephoto module with a 1/1.95-inch Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS is also available. The ultra-wide-angle module remains the same as in the GT5 Pro model – 8-megapixel 1/4-inch Sony IMX355. The round display hole houses a 16-megapixel front camera. Since the GT7 Pro is water and dust resistant, Realme has developed a special underwater photography mode to use the phone as an action camera.
The Realme GT7 Pro’s battery offers a capacity of 6500 mAh — a new record for the brand’s smartphones. It supports 120W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. There is no mention of wireless charging. The smartphone has an infrared port, stereo speakers, but no 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The new device runs on Android 15 with the proprietary Realme UI 6.0 shell and various artificial intelligence features. These include Sketch to Image, Motion Deblur, and AI Snap Mode for enhancing photos and image editing, as well as Game Super Resolution and Gaming Super Frame for improving gaming.
Price
The price of the Realme GT7 Pro in China starts at $505/€465 for the 12/256 GB memory configuration. International sales will begin later this month. Users can choose from Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey colors, as well as a white variant that will be exclusive to China.
