«Reserve+» now allows you to apply for a deferral online for parents with many children

The «Reserve+» app has a new feature that allows parents with many children to apply for a deferment from mobilization. This applies to those who are raising three minor children in a joint marriage. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko.

The online deferment in «Reserve+» works as follows. A person liable for military service who is eligible for a deferment must log in to the «Reserve+» application and send a request through the menu in the form of an orange circle with three horizontal dots. The system will check whether you are eligible for a deferral. If so, this status will be reflected in the electronic military record.

«Today, the Reserve+ app has a new feature that allows parents with many children who have three or more minor children in a joint marriage to apply for a deferment from mobilization. To get such a deferment, you just need to send a request in the Reserve+ app. The system will automatically check the right to deferment and display the corresponding status in your electronic military document,” Chernogorenko said.

It also specifies that for parents who have children from different marriages, one of the conditions for obtaining a deferral is the absence of significant child support arrears. The amount of the debt should not exceed three monthly payments according to the Unified Register of Debtors.

According to Chernogorenko, 150 thousand deferrals have already been issued or extended through the «Reserve+» application. As a reminder, this the feature became available on November 10. Initially, only people with disabilities, as well as students, postgraduates, and doctoral students who are studying in a sequential order, could apply for a deferment online.
