The Samsung Frame TV series is designed to ensure that the gigantic display blends more harmoniously into the interior. At CES 2025, the company is expanding its lineup by introducing a more advanced version of the Frame Pro TV, which includes Samsung’s best Neo QLED panel. However, it is not yet known whether Samsung is using a 4K or 8K panel here, which could significantly affect the price of the device.
Frame Pro uses the Samsung One Connect wireless unit, which allows you to transmit content from consoles or set-top boxes to the TV without the need to directly connect them and spoil the interior with wires. Instead, you connect to the Wireless One Connect, and it transmits the signal to the TV. Thus, you can create a much neater configuration without cables, which is particularly useful with such a TV as the Frame.
The TV uses the Samsung NQ4 Gen3 AI processor. Currently, the company does not disclose information about what specific functions the chip performs. Given the presence of AI in the name, it is worth expecting auxiliary artificial intelligence functions. NQ4 also suggests that the TV might have a 4K panel, not 8K, since the just-announced Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN990F uses the NQ8 processor. Likely, 4 or 8 indicate the resolution of the TV.
It should be noted, Frame is a TV designed to be mounted on the wall, complete with a frame. Such a design more closely resembles something you might find in an art gallery, rather than a media viewing room. In its off state, the panel can display artwork from a collection curated by Samsung.
Samsung has not yet named the price or release date for the Frame Pro, as is usually the case at CES.
