Recently, CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A26 smartphone were leaked online. And now this device has been certified, which indicates its imminent launch. Some of its characteristics are also known.
Samsung Galaxy A26 will have a processor of its own production, Samsung Exynos 1280. This is surprising because its predecessor was also based on the same chipset. The processor will be complemented by up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Support for dual SIM cards is also reported.
What will change is the display size. The Galaxy A26 will have a 6.64-inch display compared to the 6.5-inch screen of its predecessor. The panel will have an FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity and camera parameters have not yet been disclosed. Judging by the renders, the device will have a triple camera on the back. The dimensions of the smartphone are expected to be 164×77.5×7.7 mm. The thickness will be 9.7 mm where the cameras protrude. The smartphone will ship with Android 15 and One UI 7.0.
Given the certification, the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy A26 smartphone should be expected in the near future.
