A new mid-budget Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy A26, is expected to be unveiled soon. Renders and some specifications of this device have already appeared online. The images were shared by an OnLeaks insider.
The renders show the familiar Infinity-U screen design and large bezels around it. The dimensions of the device will be 164×77.5×7.7~9.7 mm (including the camera protrusion), which makes it taller but at the same time narrower and thinner than the Galaxy A25 (161×76.5×8.3 mm). There are changes in the design of the cameras, but the smartphone, like its predecessor, will have a triple main camera.
Samsung Galaxy A26 has already been tested on Geekbench. From the tests, it became clear that the smartphone is based on the Exynos 1280 processor. The same chip was used in the previous model. The images show 6 GB of RAM, but it is expected that there will be a variant with 8 GB of memory. The smartphone will ship with Android 15 and One UI 7.0. Samsung also promises 6 major updates to the operating system and 6 years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is expected to be unveiled in December this year or in January 2025 with a price similar to the Galaxy A25 5G.
