The Apple TV+ streaming service has unveiled the first trailer for the second season of the sci-fi thriller «Severance».
The plot of the series revolves around Lumon Industries, which introduces a medical procedure called «Severance» for its employees. It allows you to divide a person’s memories between work and home, effectively creating two personalities in one body. The «outies are unaware of what is happening in the office, while the «inies remain in a hellish existence from which they cannot escape.
In the new season, Mark Scout (Adam Scott) returns to Lumon and discovers changes both in the office and among his colleagues. However, some things remain the same — the disorienting corridors and the unrelenting tension of Milchik (Tramell Tillman), who looks ominous even with balloons in his hands.
The series, created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller, boasts an all-star cast. In addition to Adam Scott and Tramell Tillman, it also features Britt Lover, Zach Cherry, Jen Tulloch, Michael Chernus, Deacon Luckman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette.
The second season of «Severance», which will consist of 10 episodes, will premiere on Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025. And on November 15, another highly anticipated sci-fi series — Season 2 of «Silo».
