Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said about testing new developments created for the needs of the Ukrainian military within the Brave1 cluster. The relevant tests took place at training grounds.
It is noted that the frontline is constantly changing, and the military needs new technologies. Some of them are critical and need to be implemented as soon as possible to prevent the enemy from advancing. According to Fedorov, the following 3 technologies are particularly relevant for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This technology allows a single operator to control a group of drones that can perform missions autonomously through teamwork. The developers demonstrated how drones work as part of a swarm, as well as their interaction with robots. A swarm of drones can perform reconnaissance or combat operations.
Guided munitions hit targets with high accuracy, automatically targeting them and adjusting their flight. The use of such ammunition significantly increases the effectiveness of combat missions of bomber drones.
The military version of the quadrupedal robot is highly effective in performing logistics and reconnaissance tasks in various weather conditions and landscapes. On a single charge, this robot can cover a distance of almost 10 km.
Brave1 is already in talks with an American company to enable the Ukrainian Defense Forces to start using the robotic dog.
Thanks to robotic units, military casualties are reduced by 30%, according to the video.
