On December 6, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy solemnly handed over the first batch of the latest «Hell» drone missiles to the Defense Forces.
It is noted that the «Hell» drone missiles are mass-produced in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have already successfully used them to repel the Russian invasion.
During the event, it was reported that there have already been 5 successful cases of using «Hell» for the occupiers. However, the specific cases of their use and the objects destroyed with their help were not specified.
The «Hell» drone missile has a range of 700 km and a speed of 700 km/h. Thus, it can reach the target at its maximum range in about one hour.
However, the features of the warhead and other characteristics of the drone missile are not reported for security reasons. Also, information about the number of units that have already been transferred to the Armed Forces is not disclosed. It should be noted that earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy called such systems a fundamentally new type of weapon.
During the event, it was emphasized that Ukrainian drone missiles are not inferior to certain types of Russian cruise missiles in terms of their effectiveness, but are much cheaper.
