Naughty Dog has released The Last of Us Complete digital collection and announced the Collector’s Edition for physical treasures. At the same time, it released a trailer.
The Last of Us Complete — is a two-part collection of the game, which includes Part 1 (2022 remake) and Part 2 Remastered (2024 version for PS5). The digital version is already available on the PlayStation Store and costs ₴2,799, but special attention is paid to the physical Collector’s Edition.
Collectors will be able to get their treasures from July 10. Pre-orders are already available exclusively on direct.playstation.com with a price of €120, which is about ₴5,500.
The kit includes:
- Steelbook case with a new design;
- separate disks for Part 1 and Part 2 Remastered;
- Left Behind;
- The Last of Us comics: American Dreams #1-4 with an exclusive cover;
- a set of four lithographs by different artists;
- a letter of gratitude from Neil Druckmann.
Collector’s Edition — is a limited edition, so pre-ordering is the most realistic way to get a physical box. The discs are minimalist in design, and the box itself — features new artwork that, according to the developers, «shows the humanity at the center of the story». Overall rumors of a physical «special edition» The insiders almost guessed the price.
As a reminder, Part 1 was completely redesigned for PS5, with DualSense support, 3D audio, improved visuals, and optimization for the new hardware. And the Remastered edition of the second part got additional modes (No Return, Guitar Free Play), «lost levels», etc. Also The Last of Us 2 gets a successful release on PC a week ago and even the first patch.
The future of the — series is an open question. In 2024, Druckmann said that the game would probably have another chapter. But in the spring of 2025, he added that this might be the end of the post-apocalyptic story. Currently, the studio is focused on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet which tells the story of a planet cut off from the world with a strange religious cult and freedom of action like Elden Ring.

But while the new games have not been released, the continuation of the HBO series will start on April 13. The second season is already critically acclaimed, was named one of the best video game adaptations, and the show was extended for a third season before the premiere. The series continues the story of Part 2: new characters, new plot developments, etc.
