The Ministry of Justice has blocked accounts of 26 thousand Ukrainians for non-payment of fines to the Transfer Pricing Commission

Bank accounts of 26,000 people have been blocked in Ukraine due to non-payment of fines related to violation of mobilization rules. This was announced by the head of the Central Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice, Kyrylo Minenko, during a telethon.

According to the official, it all starts with an administrative fine, which can be paid voluntarily. If this is not done, the State Enforcement Service steps in and blocks the debtor’s account — but only for the amount of the debt.

«No more than that. Above this amount, the debtor can dispose of the funds. The debtor is immediately included in the register of debtors. Immediately after the fine is paid, the proceedings are closed and the entry in the register of debtors is removed,” Minenko said.

He also added that it is much more profitable to pay the fine immediately. If you do not do this voluntarily, you will have to pay an enforcement fee (10%) and other costs associated with enforcement.

«That is, it is voluntarily cheaper than»,” Minenko explained.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada supported draft law No. 12093, which provides for a 50% discount for voluntary payment of a fine from the TCC. In addition, fines can be paid remotely — via the «Reserve+» app, even while abroad.

It is worth noting that some TP fines can be successfully canceled in court. Courts in most casestake the side of the plaintiffs. However, there are other situationsTCC fines man UAH 17 thousanddue to the absence of a paper WOD and QR code in «Reserve+».
