As well as expected, OnePlus has officially unveiled its new smartphone OnePlus 13T. Its main feature is a large battery. Its battery has a larger capacity than many flagships of the Ultra series. Although the device itself is almost no bigger than the iPhone 16 or Samsung Galaxy S25.
OnePlus calls the 6.32-inch OLED display of the OnePlus 13T «small», although it is slightly larger than the screens of Apple and Samsung’s base devices. In general, the phone is slightly larger and heavier than them, although not by much. At the same time, its display is half an inch smaller than the regular OnePlus 13 (6.82 inches), and the smartphone itself is 25 g lighter (185 g vs. 210 g), so it’s a really compact format for OnePlus.
The display of the novelty is based on an LTPO AMOLED panel. It has a resolution of 2640×1216 pixels, a variable refresh rate in the range of 1-120 Hz, a maximum brightness of 1600 nits, and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid. OnePlus 13T has the same chip Snapdragon 8 EliteThe same as the regular version, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
The novelty has a 6260 mAh battery. This is significantly more than the iPhone 16 (3561 mAh) or Galaxy S25 (4000 mAh), but even more than the larger OnePlus 13 (6000 mAh) and Galaxy S25 Ultra (5000 mAh). This increase was made possible thanks to the updated silicon-carbon battery technology, which allows you to hold more energy than traditional lithium-ion batteries. The device supports 80W fast wired charging, but there is no support for wireless charging.
The dual camera setup on the back includes a 50-megapixel main module based on a 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS and a 50-megapixel telephoto module with 2x zoom. The front camera is 16-megapixel.
OnePlus fans may notice an important change: the signature slider for switching sound modes has disappeared. It has been replaced by a customizable Shortcut Key. You can use it to adjust the volume of notifications, launch specific apps, take screenshots, or activate AI tools. The same button appeared this month on Oppo Find X8 Ultra and is likely to become the new standard for future OnePlus smartphones.
The price of OnePlus 13T in China starts at $466 for the 12+256 GB version. This is about $100 cheaper than the standard version of OnePlus 13. The top configuration (16 GB of RAM + 1 TB of storage) is estimated at $617. Actual deliveries will begin on April 30.
