The initiative was supported by CD Projekt RED’s localization project manager Maria Strelchuk, which may indicate the company’s positive attitude towards Ukrainian localization.

The presence of embedded Ukrainian subtitles in the official trailer hints at the possible appearance of the Ukrainian version of the game, although the full list of localization languages for The Witcher 4 has not yet been announced.
The events of the new installment take place several years after the events of The Witcher 3. The main character will be Ciril, who has passed the Herbal Trial and become a professional witch.
The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 and promises to be the largest in the series. The release date remains unknown.
