Toyota, Renault, Skoda and others: almost 70 thousand new cars purchased by Ukrainians in 2024

In December 2024, Ukrainians purchased more than 5.5 thousand new passenger cars. This is 6% less than in December 2023, but 5.7% more than in the previous November.

In 2024, 69.6 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine. This is 14% more than last year. Ukrainians bought Toyota cars most often, accounting for 15.4% of the total number of registrations.

1. Toyota – 10,731 units;
2. Renault – 7,266 units;
3. Skoda – 5,033 units;
4. Volkswagen – 4,899 units;
5. BMW – 4,833 units;
6. Nissan – 2,777 units;
7. Hyundai – 2,618 units;
8. Peugeot – 2,474 units;
9. Suzuki – 2,301 units;
10. Mazda – 2,256 units.

The most popular car in Ukraine in 2024 was the Renault Duster compact crossover. During the year, Ukrainians purchased 6826 cars of this model, which accounted for 94% of the total number of registrations of this brand.

As for December, Toyota was the most popular brand in this case as well.

3. Renault – 526 units.
4. Volkswagen – 435 units.
5. Peugeot – 380 units.

At the same time, the most popular model of the month was once again the Renault Duster.
