MP Bohdan Kitsak says that Ukraine will not launch economic reservations for mobilization, as the public reaction to this proposal was very negative.
«This instrument causes a huge negative reaction among Ukrainian society. There are many other topics that cause social discontent, including «busification». It is necessary to ensure unity and national support among society when we have a difficult situation at the front. Therefore, based on these points, it was decided not to introduce the model, so this topic disappeared from the information space», – said Kitsak on the air of the TV channel «Novosti.LIVE» (via sud.ua).
At the same time, the MP emphasized that Ukraine will be able to «calmly pass 2025» thanks to international support — allegedly, there is already an agreement with partners on external borrowings of $39 billion.
«This amount has actually already been agreed with various international partners or institutions, which will enable us to pass the year 2025 in peace. We are working to increase the amount, in particular for the production of Ukrainian weapons. The so-called “Danish model” is used, when international partners finance the production of Ukrainian weapons that go to the front line,» the MP added.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shmyhal said that the military from the front line «did not appreciate the» model of economic reservation, so the government is working to improve it. Meanwhile, Zelenskyy said that he had not yet seen any fair proposals for» economic booking.
