Ukrainian response to «Shahedi»: domestic hunter drone has already destroyed about 30 targets

During a visit to Ukraine by a Belgian delegation consisting of government officials and defense industry representatives, Ukrainian developers publicly demonstrated a combat UAV, the «Shahed» hunter, for the first time. This Ukrainian-made drone is specially designed to destroy Russian kamikaze drones.

The developers note that this drone is the first of its class in Ukraine and currently demonstrates the best results among similar systems. According to them, over the past two months, this device has successfully destroyed more than 20 enemy «Shahed». The developers note that the hunter UAV can also hunt smaller targets, including reconnaissance drones flying over the territory of Ukraine. During combat duty, the Ukrainian drone also destroyed about 10 enemy reconnaissance drones.

The Ukrainian interceptor vehicle can operate at an altitude of up to 5 km and reach a speed of 200 km/h. This allows it to effectively pursue and destroy aerial targets. However, other characteristics of the drone have not yet been disclosed.

Ukrainian developers have also created cruise missile «Trembita»It is capable of covering distances of up to 200 kilometers.
