Ukrainians bought more than 4 thousand electric cars in October: which models are the most popular

In October 2024, 4277 battery electric vehicles were registered in Ukraine. Compared to October 2023, the demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine decreased by 5%.

At the same time, the share of new cars in the registrations of battery electric vehicles in Ukraine amounted to 23%, up from 19% last year.

The bulk of electric vehicles registered during the month were passenger cars – 4124 units (new – 969 units, used – 3155 units). Among 153 commercial electric vehicles, only 17 were new.

TOP 5 most popular new electric vehicles:

1. HONDA M-NV – 188 units;
2. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 100 units;
3. ZEEKR 001 – 94 units;
4. BYD Song Plus – 74 units;
5. AUDI Q4 e-tron – 41 units.

TOP-5 most popular used electric vehicles registered for the first time in Ukraine:

1. NISSAN Leaf – 447 units;
2. TESLA Model Y – 299 units;
3. TESLA Model 3 – 281 units;
4. HYUNDAI Kona Electric – 195 units;
5. VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf – 182 units.

Since the beginning of 2024, more than 44.2 thousand electric vehicles have been registered in Ukraine for the first time. Of the total, 20% are new cars, while the remaining 80% are used.
