The new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be released soon. However, thanks to an insider at Digital Chat Station, we can already get acquainted with some of the characteristics of this device.
According to the source, Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have a screen about the same size as the 14 Ultra, with small curves on all sides and a similar resolution. It is likely to be a 6.73-inch panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels.
On the back of the smartphone will be a main camera with a 1-inch sensor and a lens with an aperture of f/1.63. There is no mention of an interchangeable aperture, so it may not be available. Additionally, there will be a 50-megapixel telephoto module with a short zoom (probably 2x) and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto module, probably with a 4.3x zoom.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistant, as well as support for wireless charging. However, we should not expect a large battery. According to rumors, the battery capacity will range from 5450 to 5800 mAh. This is less than competitors who offer 6000 mAh batteries. The main reason for this is the considerable space occupied by the cameras, as well as Xiaomi’s desire to avoid creating a body that is too thick.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in February, just like its predecessor, or even in January, if rumors are to be believed.
