In March, many hits of the last century will return, some even in a new wrapper. But if you don’t feel nostalgic for your childhood games, this month will see the release of a lot of new games to suit everyone’s taste. There are especially many games for fans of turn-based battles. We are going to tell you about some of them, including Ukrainian ones, in our selection of March game releases.

The Thaumaturge

The Thaumaturge is an isometric role-playing game with turn-based battles set in a fantasy Warsaw of 1905 occupied by Russia. The game’s protagonist, Viktor Shulsky, returns to Warsaw for family reasons. Viktor has a rare gift of Tavmaturgy, which allows him to read secrets hidden in the human soul and communicate with the Darkness. The developers promise a non-linear story, a detective component, and a combat system that is also influenced by our ability to «read» people and even bend their will.
Zoria: Age of Shattering

A tactical party RPG with turn-based battles. Each of the four heroes has their own unique abilities, the skillful use of which will help you survive in the dangerous world of Zoria. Among other things, you will have to set up your own camp and constantly return to it to rest and recuperate. The game has a demo version.
WWE 2K24

The central theme of WWE 2K24 will be the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania. And in MyRISE mode, you will have to climb the career ladder from the very bottom in the men’s or women’s groups. Owners of the Deluxe edition will be able to start playing 3 days earlier.
Highwater

The developers of the original Outcast have teamed up to give fans a full-fledged sequel to the series. Outcast: A New Beginning will feature the return of the original game’s protagonist, Cutter Slade, who will have to explore the world of Adelphi and confront the invading robots. The entire world of Adelpha is open for exploration, and its inhabitants will help the hero. The game has a demo version.
Alone in the Dark

In the slums of the American South in the 1920s, Emily Hartwood’s uncle disappears. Together with private investigator Edward Carnby, she embarks on a journey to Derseto Manor, a home for the mentally ill, where something is lurking. Two heroes, Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood, will have to explore their surroundings, fight monsters, solve puzzles and uncover the difficult truth of Derseto Manor. The main characters are voiced by Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) and David Harbour (Stranger Things). The game is a reimagining of Alone in the Dark, and the script is written by Michael Hedberg, the author of SOMA and Amnesia.
Stunt Paradise

Two guys from Zhytomyr create a game about stuntmen on wheels. The gameplay is very simple, you need to press the gas pedal and control the trajectory of the car. Levels are accompanied not only by stunning car somersaults, but also by various scenery and even unexpected, but very effective, obstacles. In the game, you can get behind the wheel of iconic cars from racing games and movies. The full version will have 50 levels and 20 different cars.The game has a Ukrainian localization and a demo version.
Rise of the Ronin

The authors of the Nioh series continue to improve and supplement their gameplay formula, for example, with the hook-and-cat. In Rise of the Ronin, the developers abandoned the fantasy component of the previous games. The game is set in the late XIX century, at the final stage of the Edo period. The story develops depending on your decisions and the characters you choose to team up with or kill.
Dragon’s Dogma 2

This month’s biggest release is the long-awaited Dragon’s Dogma 2. In addition to grandiose battles with unprecedented giant creatures, the game will offer an equally gigantic world to explore. The developers even emphasize that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a story-driven RPG for single-player.

South Park: Snow Day!

The city is covered in snow, adults have succumbed to chaos, and classes have been canceled. In a cooperative game for four players, we join Cartman’s new fiction to save the city.

Open Roads

Opal and his daughter Tess embark on a journey to get to know each other better and uncover family secrets from the past. The roles are voiced by Keri Russell (Cocaine Bear, Netflix’s The Diplomat) and Caitlin Dever, who recently played Abby in the second season of The Last of Us.
Re-releases and ports. On March 12, we will release Contra: Operation Galuga is a reimagining of the original game with new levels, mechanics, characters, and up to four-player co-op.
On March 14, a reissue of the classic Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection with bonus cards and the ability to play both online and offline.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition for PC owners will be released on March 21 with the Burning Shores expansion pack, enhanced graphics, and full DualSense support.
If you were around when the NES was pirated, you should have met Felix the Cat. Port Felix the Cat, the original 1992 game, will be released on March 28.
