Mirage 2000 fighters arrived in Ukraine, — French Defense Minister

Sébastien Lecornu said that the first Mirage 2000s are already in Ukraine. He noted that the fighters arrived with pilots trained in France and are ready for use.

According to the minister, the French president announced this earlier that day. The specific date of arrival is February 6, although it may be conditional for obvious reasons.

In October 2024, French Foreign Minister announced the arrival of Mirage 2000 in Ukraine in early 2025 — which is exactly what happened. France also helps Ukraine train its military.

The fighters have been modified to better hit ground targets. They will be able to use French SCALP missiles, British Storm Shadow missiles, and French AASM adjusted bombs.
