According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is working on a new «cheap» 11th generation iPad, which is likely to be released in the spring of 2025.
The model will have the same design as the current version, but will receive a «speed boost». The cost of the current «budget» in the iPad lineup starts at $350 — it is assumed that the new one will have the same price.
Recently, Apple has been working on updating the entire iPad lineup, starting with the release of a new iPad Pro with M4, iPad Air with 12.9-inch screen and the recently released iPad Mini with support for Apple Pencil. «The newcomer» in the mini line has received virtually no updates compared to its predecessor, except the Apple A17 Pro chip, which allows the tablet to support Apple Intelligence options.
In addition to the «budget» Apple is preparing a new iPad Pro with the M5 chip — according to Gourmet, it may be released in late 2025 or early 2026.
As for the rest of the devices, in early 2025 we are waiting for the new iPhone SE and Apple Watch whereas, probably, today the company will show new Macs — 24-inch iMac with M4 entry-level, two versions of the updated Mac mini (with the base chip and M4 Pro), and the new 16-inch MacBook Pro M4.
