Yesterday in the application «Reserve+» «something strange happened»as a result of which some of those liable for military service were granted a deferral from mobilization until the end of martial law. But later it turned out that this was a bug due to the active work of the developers on the project.
In a comment on Facebook, Deputy Defense Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko clarified that the team is working on introducing an automatic deferral in the app. Earlier, it was reported that automatic deferrals should start working this fall. It seems that the bug occurred in connection with the development of this feature.
«We make automatic deferrals in the application so that you do not need to submit any documents — only an application. We are planning the first of them this fall»,” Chernogorenko wrote.
Later, in another comment, Kateryna Chernogorenko added that it is planned to implement the function of automatic deferrals in the first decade of November. This would be very timely, as all deferrals expire at the end of the first decade of November.
As a reminder, according to the current legislation, the postponement of mobilization is granted until the end of martial law. Martial law in Ukraine is extended every 90 days. Therefore, the deferral must be extended every time the extension of martial law is announced. Last time, martial law was extended until November 9. Thus, the current deferrals are valid until November 9, and starting from November 10, persons liable for military service who are entitled to a deferral must again prove it to the MCC and provide documents for extension.
If the developers manage to implement the function of automatic deferments in the first decade of November, at least some categories of persons liable for military service will be able to extend the period of deferment from mobilization without visiting the CMC. Previously was reportedThe company says that such a function is being prepared for parents with many children, students and people with disabilities.
