Bethesda has offered players to become a non-player character in The Elder Scrolls 6, but they have to pay a tidy sum. For the first time in a long time, the developers reminded about the game, albeit with a charity auction.
Fans can win a chance to create NPC for TES 6 at a silent auction that started with a base bid of $1000. It is not known how important the character will be for the plot, but most likely it will be a minor one and NPCs. Players can create both themselves and a fictional character. The studio said that the winner will work with the developers and leave their mark on the legendary franchise.
«We’re offering one lucky person the chance to create an NPC for The Elder Scrolls 6 to benefit Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlanticthe chapter of the charity that grants wishes to seriously ill children», — writes Bethesda Game Studios.
There are no other updates on the game. Fans know absolutely nothing about TES 6: no timeframe, no locations, no hints about the plot, and even less about the estimated release date. At least something about the development became known only in 2023, when Bethesda announced that the long-awaited RPG was released on full production stage, adding that we will not hear TES VI in the near future. Perhaps the next installment will be the last in the series.
The studio postponed the development of the RPG «until better times» almost immediately and focused on Starfield, which was released in 2023. Players appreciated it is ambiguous, and the DLC Starfield Shattered Space was called «incredibly mediocre». The ex-developer of Bethesda expressed positive thoughts about Starfield 2, but it is not known when it will be released.
Microsoft predicted the release of TES 6 in 2026but now there is no reason to hope that this date is realistic. For fans, Fallout 5 also needs to be patient, as it was promised to be released after The Elder Scrolls 6.
