National Cashback: Ukrainians received UAH 37.2 million in payments in September – an average of UAH 57.6

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov saidannounced that the state has made payments under the National Cashback program for September. During the first test month of the program, more than 646 thousand people were eligible for the payment. As a reminder, the funds are paid to those participants who have activated a card for payments and accumulated at least UAH 2 of cashback, which means they have spent at least UAH 20 on Ukrainian goods.

According to Mr. Fedorov, the total amount of payments under the National Cashback program as of September was UAH 37.2 million. This means that on average, each participant receives a payment of about UAH 57.6. The maximum amount of payment per participant cannot exceed UAH 3,000.

Mykhailo Fedorov also shared some interesting facts about the operation of the National Cashback program (as of October 28):

• So far, more than 1.5 million users have already activated payment cards in «Дії»;
• In the first 4 weeks of October, UAH 104.6 million of cashback has already been accrued. This is almost three times more than in September;
• Most often, the program participants buy Ukrainian goods in ATB, «Silpo», «Fora», «Aurora», Novus, Varus and «Velmart».

To recap,National Cashback programis aimed at supporting Ukrainian producers. When purchasing goods from Ukrainian producers included in the program, customers receive cashback in the amount of 10% of the cost of goods from the relevant list. The maximum amount of payments is UAH 3 thousand per month.

In order to receive National Cashback from the state, you need to:

1. Apply through the website or mobile application of a bank participating in the program or contact a branch. The following banks have joined the program: PrivatBank, monobank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, FUIB, Abank, Globus Bank, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Oschadbank, Accordbank and Credit Dnipro Bank.
2. Identify the cards you use to pay for purchases and authorize the bank to transfer information about transactions from these cards to participating stores.
3. Open a physical or virtual card to which cashback will be credited.
4. In «Actions» in the Services section, select a card «National Cashback» for payments.
