Yoga Book 9i Gen 10 / Lenovo
The premium Yoga line from Lenovo showcases technological solutions at CES. This time it includes models with an under-screen camera, a second screen instead of a keyboard, and others.
The Yoga Slim 9i laptop begins to intrigue even when closed with its striking glass lid in a blue-gray iridescent color. The embedded 32 MP CUD camera is hidden under the screen – however, the lid still has a camera bump. When opened, it’s not at all apparent that the laptop has a camera, except for the lid. When the camera is active, the pixels in front of it become transparent and form a round window, like on smartphones.
The model boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 98%. The OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 supports a refresh rate from 30 Hz to 120 Hz. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core 7 258V processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB SSD. It weighs 1.32 kg, is equipped with a 75 Wh battery, and will be available in February starting at $1849.
The update of the Yoga Book 9i Gen 10 model brought two 14-inch OLED displays and a larger battery size – 88 Wh, weighing 1.22 kg. The previous generation had 13.3” screens and weighed 200 g more.
The novelty includes Gen 10 in its name, although it’s actually the second iteration of the device with dual screens. Like before, the laptop features a 360-degree hinge between the halves. It also received a small sound panel, a Bluetooth keyboard, a special pen, and a stand included.
Inside, the chassis houses a Core Ultra 7 255H Intel Evo Edition processor, up to 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB SSD. The displays with 2880 x 1800 resolution have a maximum brightness of 750 nits and a variable refresh rate from 48 Hz to 120 Hz. Yoga Book 9i is expected in May starting at $1999.
Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition features an OLED display with a 120 Hz frequency with a maximum brightness of 1100 nits and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.
The 75 Wh battery supports the Core Ultra 7 258V processor, the laptop has up to 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB storage, and weighs 1.32 kg. Available in gray or blue lid versions, the Yoga Pen stylus is included. Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition is expected to launch in February starting at $1599.
