Yesterday’s source leaks about RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5050 has added information about the NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics card in the same format. That is, the key characteristics are now known.
According to a leak by well-known insider kopite7kimi, all three new «budget» NVIDIA graphics cards will use the same PG152 board. It will not only support two different GPUs, GB206 and GB207, but also different types of memory — GDDR6 and GDDR7.
In fact, the RTX 5060 will be about 20% behind the 5060 Ti. It will have 3840 CUDA cores (17% less), as well as a lower TGP of 150W (30W less), the frequencies, like the other two cards, are unknown. The RTX 5060 will also have 25% more cores than its predecessor, the RTX 4060.
The gap should be especially noticeable at higher resolutions, due to the 8GB of 128-bit GDDR7 memory rather than 16GB. The same capacity and memory bus will be offered by the RTX 5050, but it will have GDDR6 memory and lower bandwidth.
It seems that the RTX 5060 Ti will be suitable for 1440p gaming, especially with 16 GB of memory. In turn, the RTX 5060 can be recommended for Full HD. They will include compete with AMD Radeon RX 9060XT, also with a 16GB variant, and RX 9060. According to VideoCardz, the new graphics cards will be released this month and will be available from April.
