A Chinese video blogger has created a liquid cooling system for PCs that is connected to household air conditioner. The NVIDIA RTX 4090 demonstrates 20°C in the stress test.
At video On a channel with the strange name «Electrolytic Sodium Carbonate» (ESC) on the social network Bilibili, you can see a computer case with an external air conditioning unit next to it, and a closer look reveals technical details. The girl created the system as a «ideal companion» for an Intel Core i9-14900K with NVIDIA RTX 5090, but still lacked a water block for the video card. So she implemented the idea on a system with a Core i9-13900K and RTX 4090.
This is not the first attempt by ESC to integrate powerful household air conditioners. The blogger showed the installed liquid cooling system «whole house», which has five circuits available for PCs. The screenshots show some of the parts.

The video shows a Xiaomi KFR-35GW 12,000 BTU air conditioner with an NVIDIA – AMD – Intel nameplate, although there are no known AMD components in the test system. It consumes about 1.2 kW and measures 765 x 268 x 550 mm. These characteristics are incomparable to conventional liquid cooling of computers.
The system was 40 minutes «roasted» stress test with FurMark and AIDA system stability test. When the girl moved the external unit outside where it is usually installed, the temperature of the video card was only 2°C with a hot spot of 12°C. The test showed that the temperature of the video card rose to 20°C and 36°C respectively. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t show the external and internal environment parameters, as well as the temperature characteristics of the CPU and video card for comparison.
