As well as promised earlier Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko, the «Reserve+» app has started to introduce electronic referrals to the military medical examination board. The feature is currently in beta status.
«Today, persons liable for military service are forced to receive paper referrals to the MCC, wasting time in queues. Thanks to the reform, this process will become much easier and more convenient,» said Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
The Minister of Defense explained how the new service of electronic referrals to the military medical clinics in «Reserve+» works:
- The user sends a request via «Reserve+».
- The head of the TCC confirms the request.
- The user receives a notification with all the necessary information: referral registration number, address of the medical institution, and the signature of the head of the TCC.
It is noted that, first of all, electronic referrals will be created by citizens who wish to undergo the VLC themselves. But later, this opportunity will be available to other persons liable for military service who have received a paper summons to undergo the VLC.
According to Umerov, the main goal of beta testing is to test the new service together with «Reserve+» users and improve it before its full launch.
Interested users can join the beta test at the following link.
Rustem Umerov added that the next step will be to integrate the information systems of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health.
«Starting from the fall of 2025, in the «Reserve+» it will be possible to independently choose a medical institution that has a contract with the NHSU to undergo a fitness examination,» he said.
